VDA vR is an independent Chrome extension that provides optional workflow assistance on supported RXO Expedite pages (for example, pages under www.expedite.rxo.com). Depending on the features you enable, the extension may read visible page content, store settings in your browser, perform geocoding and distance-estimate functions, deliver optional notifications, and submit limited data to our backend services needed for those features.
VDA vR is a third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by RXO or any other website operator unless expressly stated otherwise.
On supported Expedite pages, the extension may read text and fields visible in the page in order to provide the features you enable. Depending on the page and feature, this may include workflow rows, cards, or list items and values such as origin, destination, identifiers shown in the UI, times, equipment or notes text, and other on-screen values needed for filtering, highlighting, matching, radius logic, alerts, or optional assistance features you turn on.
The extension stores settings and related data in your browser using Chrome storage and, where used, page local storage. This may include feature toggles, keyword lists, radius and location preferences, Telegram enable state, UI preferences, install ID, cooldown or timing state, and local data used for optional queue-style assistance (for example, decline-related sequencing), consistent with the features you enable.
If you enable an optional sign-in assistance feature and enter credentials, the username and password you provide may be stored in Chrome sync storage so the feature can fill them on the supported sign-in page. Do not enable this feature unless you want the extension to store and use those credentials for that purpose.
We may store or process identifiers used to provide the service, such as an install ID, email address, subscription identifier, customer identifier, or similar entitlement-related data used to manage access to features.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you send us, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message or attachments.
Some features work locally in your browser. Other features require requests to our backend at vdassist.com. Depending on the feature you use, data sent to our backend may include:
We do not sell personal information or user data.
Some extension data is stored only on your device or in your Chrome profile. If Chrome sync is enabled in your browser, some settings stored in Chrome sync may be synchronized by Chrome across signed-in browsers according to Chrome’s own behavior. Where the extension uses page local storage for specific workflow state, that data remains in your browser for those origins unless you clear it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission, storage, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure.
VDA vR is intended for business and workflow use and is not directed to children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page, unless a different effective date is stated.
